Credit CardA credit card refers to the plastic card issued by the credit providing company to the users for retail transactions. Mostly all the credit cards will be in the same shape and size as specified by the ISO 7810 standard. The credit card user can make his purchases using these cards. He can also revolve his balance. But he will be charged interests along with other service charges.Usually, a user applies for a credit card in a credit providing company. After the approval of an account by the credit provider, he is provided with a credit card. Now the user can make his purchases from merchants using his credit card up to a predetermined credit limit. He can make purchase only in those stores that accept the specified company's credit card owned by the user. All merchants do not accept all the credit cards. After making the purchase the user agrees to pay the card issuer both expenses made and their interests. Then the user should give his consent to pay by signing a receipt in the shop.
